Head Coach Brendan McGourn has announced Emma Parkhurst as the newest addition to his coaching staff as Assistant Coach.

Parkhurst joins the Huskies from Division III William Smith, where she helped lead the volleyball program to its first NCAA Division III Championship appearance in 2024, with a program-best 22-7 record. She mentored five All-Liberty League selections, three AVCA All-Region First-Team honorees, and three AVCA All-Americans. In 2023, Parkhurst guided William Smith to a 15-10 record and helped secure the second seed in the Liberty League playoffs, mentoring three All-Liberty League selections and two AVCA All-Americans. In 2022, she contributed to the program’s strong inaugural season with a 16-6 record.

Prior to William and Smith Parkhurst coached at the University of Southern Maine, aiding in a 13-win season and mentoring six All-Academic selections.

A Hamilton College graduate in neuroscience, Parkhurst was a three-year starter and captain for the Continentals volleyball team, earning over 1,000 assists and three triple-doubles. She also served as president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
