LAKE PLACID, N.Y.— Katy Knoll and
Gwyneth Philips of the Northeastern women's hockey team were named to the 2023 U.S. Collegiate Women's Select Team. The team is set to compete in a three-game series with Canada on August 16, 17 and 19 at the Lake Placid Olympic Center in Lake Placid, N.Y.

Lindsay Berman is also serving in the same role for the Collegiate Select Team in Lake Placid.

Knoll and Philips were both named assistant captains ahead of the 2023-24 season for the Huskies. The duo was instrumental in leading Northeastern to a sixth-straight Hockey East title, third-straight Frozen Four appearance and Beanpot Championship in 2022-23.

The U.S. Collegiate Women' Select Team is normally referenced as the U.S. Under-22 Women's Select Team, but due to extended collegiate eligibility, all players with collegiate eligibility were able to make the team.
