Chaisson Allen finished his Northeastern career on the All-CAA First Team in his junior and senior seasons while also finding a spot on the CAA All-Rookie team in 2008. In addition he was honored twice by the National Association of Basketball Coaches on the All-District First team in 2010 and the All-District second team after his senior season. A three-time CAA All-Defensive team honoree, Allen finished his career second on the career steals list with 232 behind just Northeastern Hall of Famer Andre LaFleur.

Allen led the Huskies in dishing out assists in each of his four seasons on campus finishing his time on Huntington Ave. fourth all-time in assists (430) and (at the time) ninth in scoring (1,550). The sharp shooter is sixth on Northeastern’s all-time 3-point field goals list with 180 treys made, trailing only fellow pros J.J. Barea, David Walker, Joel Smith, Matt Janning and Quincy Ford.

Allen excelled on the defensive end as well for the 63 steals he recorded his freshman year remain the sixth highest single season total ever recorded by a Husky.  Seven of the 63 total steals came at Maryland, that stands as the third highest single-game steal total in Northeastern history.  He added to his legacy finishing his sophomore year by leading the Huskies in both rebounds and assists. The 69 threes he hit in the same season were also good for the eighth highest single season total ever.

No year was more impressive than his last in which he led the Huskies in points, rebounds, and assists, as well as his 61 threes, seventh most all-time. The 3.4 assists he averaged throughout his career ranks him 8th all-time but also helped his team to 64 wins, 41 in CAA play. One of those wins came in 2008 vs. Drexel, Allen and the Huskies rattled off 24 consecutive points, a Northeastern record to this day.

After an impressive college career Allen played professionally in Israel, Poland, Croatia, Greece, and Turkey. He currently serves as the player development assistant at the University of Miami.
