Dana M. Kozimor-Zugay has been elected to the Northeastern University Hall of Fame for her accomplishments in the sport of diving.

Kozimor, Class of '92, already had established herself as the top high school diver in the history of Massachusetts before coming to NU. She began her career while in grammar school when she joined the Boston Area Diving Team. Kozimor then attended Westford Academy where she earned All-America status, was three-time state diving champion, set the state record and won New England titles in her age group. She placed ninth in the Junior Olympics and was ranked 12th in the world in her age group.

When Kozimor arrived at Northeastern, she quickly became the top collegiate diver in New England and on the East Coast. Kozimor lost just one event in a dual meet her freshman year and then went undefeated in dual meets for the rest of her NU career. As just a freshman, Kozimor took titles in the one-meter and three-meter events at the New England and ECAC championships.

Over her final three years, Kozimor won every one-meter and three-meter diving title that she entered at the New England and ECAC championships, setting meet records at both and bringing her total of New England and ECAC titles to seven each. In her final three years she was Zone A champion, qualifying for the NCAA Championship. Over her final two seasons, she was named Diver of the Meet at the ECAC and Eastern championships as well as the Zone A qualifier.

At the NCAA Championship, Kozimor placed 17th in the one-meter dive as a sophomore. She finished 20th in the one-meter and 23rd in the three-meter as a junior. As team captain her senior year, Kozimor placed 14th in the three-meter dive and 19th in both the one-meter and 10-meter dives at the NCAA's en route to All-America honors.

As a senior, she was invited to the All-America Cup, where she placed 11th. Kozimor then finished 13th at the Olympic Diving Festival. When her NU career was completed, she held all the school's diving marks and also had established meet records at the New England, ECAC, Eastern, New England U.S. Diving, and America East championships.

In the classroom, Kozimor was a three-time Academic All-American and graduated summa cum laude with a 3.8 GPA. She went on to become a U.S. Diving national finalist several times and was U.S. Olympic Festival champ in 1994. She earned a master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan in 1999.
