Tramaine Shaw (class of 2009) holds the Northeastern pentathlon record with 3,685 points. She also holds the program’s top time in the 100m hurdles (13.58) and is the only sprinter to have won an ECAC outdoor 

championship in the event. Shaw’s relay teams also had great success. She helped her teams to outdoor school records in the 4x100 (45.59), 4x400 (3:39.21) and 4x200 (1:37.82). She was an America East/CAA Individual Champion 10 times and a member of three America East/CAA team championships.

In 2005, she was the America East’s Most Outstanding Performer in field events and was also named the Indoor Rookie of the Year. She was the CAA Track Athlete of the year in 2007 and was a member of the 25th Anniversary America East Team.

Shaw is currently an assistant coach for the Northeastern track and field program, and helped lead the Huskies to their first-ever CAA men’s track and field championship in 2015.
