Larry Bone was elected to the Hall of Fame for his accomplishments in the sport of ice hockey.

A 6'0, 180 pound sniper, Bone was a natural playmaker who had no trouble scoring goals. He went from the Junior B All Ontario Finals and a scholarship offer from Brown to Northeastern, where he scored 22 goals and handed out 22 assists as a freshman. His stock rose mercurially as a sophomore, scoring 10 goals with seven assists. As a junior, he led all Huskies with a 19-15-34 aggregate. He snapped home the decisive game winner against Brown in the championship game of the Holiday hockey Festival at Madison Square Garden. One week later, Bone sent home another game winner, this time to defeat Boston Univeristy and put an end to their undefeated streak. Bone, who was selected captain, chipped in a 20 goal, 40 point season as a senior. Bone's senior heroics capped three successive winning seasons for the Huskies. Individual accolades materialized in multiple All East and All New England selections, in addition to All Start team berths in the New York and Boston Christmas Tournaments.
